New Auditorium at Robert Bosch Business Engineering Solutions

Robert Bosch business engineering solutions in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu has a new 200 seat auditorium to talk about. Acoustic Control has had the privilege of setting up this new auditorium on their campus. Handed over to RBEI in June 2010, some of the highlights of this new facility are

• Two hangs of five Electro-Voice XLD speakers with two Tour X Sub woofers on each side
• Speakers powered by  Electro-Voice P3000 Amplifiers
• The Speaker Management is taken care of by the Electro-Voice DC ONE
• The heart of the system is a Midas Venice 320
• ACi Power sequencers make sure all the equipment is powered on in the right sequence and also provides clean optimum power.
• EV RE2 wireless microphones and EV polar choice microphones were also part of the install

The system was designed in EASE and the system performed as expected.

2009 

The First Midas XL8 installed on the INDIAN sub continent

The system was installed in Infosys's new auditorium situated in its sprawling campus in Bangalore India

With the choice of the Midas XL8 the Infosys auditorium is equipped to handle a variety of acts and events and will satisfy the toughest of Technical riders.

 The XL8 will be used for events ranging form simple 4 microphone conferences to orchestral performances and the ever impressive in-house band who are really thrilled by the fact that they share the same mixing console with the likes of Aerosmith and Metallica.

At a recent political debate held in the auditorium where a barrage of media cameras and press turned up it took a few seconds to configure and send audio feeds to all the cameras and TV crews that were present. it's this flexibility that made it the ideal choice for the auditorium.

The configuration of the XL8 system installed is as follows      

• 1-off XL8-5BCC five-bay control centre
• 5-off XL8 I/O box (DL451).
• 3 x DL451 io box at FOH one configured with 2 x analog input cards with a total analog input count of 16 and with a single digital card, the second and third 451 are configured with 2 analog output cards and 1 digital io bringing the count of analog outputs at foh to 32 and an additional 16 digital i/o's.
• 2 x DL451 io box on stage both fitted with 2 x analog output cards and 1 digital io card .( 32 outputs at stage)
• 4-off XL8 stage box (DL431).( totally 96 analog input at stage)
• 10-off XL8 DSP units (DL471).
• 2-off XL8 router units (DL461).
• 1-off One DN9331 Klark Teknik Helix Rapide
